Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1996. Model as well an Irish actress. Her feature film debut was a tiny role in her debut role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Only 18 years old as she played the role Doody was, and still is one of the smallest Bond girl who has appeared in a film. A Prayer for the Dying (1997) which starred Mickey Rourke, also featured an unimportant role in the form of IRA Siobhan. Doody played an unseen role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias as she appeared in the film adaptation of his fantasy, 1987's version from The Secret Garden. She played Sapsorrow in the episode of Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan in the film Taffin (1988) before she took probably her most high-profile part to date in the role of Austrian Nazi-sympathiser as well as archaeologist the Dr. Elsa Schneider in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade as a co-star with Harrison Ford. Doody was in the film with Sean Connery in the film in the role of Indy's father. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's role. She then played Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II was released in 1994. Doody played a role in the 2004 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration to receive an award. The year 2004, she was in the film alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version of King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), which was a pamphlet that described the Holocaust. Doody made an appearance as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. She later guest starred in the medical drama of RTE The Clinic and was set to appear in a remake of horror classic The Asphyx but the project was later put on hold. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014). In November of 2018, she was awarded by the Almeria the tierra de cine prize and she received an award in the Almeria Walk of Fame.
