Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed in Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks, after her very first tryout. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. She was the world's youngest champion in 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in every event.
